We reject animal testing and do not carry out any tests on animals in our laboratory. Likewise, we do not commission any animal testing. We do not have any production facilities in China and are therefore not subject to the legal requirements there regarding animal testing for cosmetics.

In the Sanct Bernhard herb house, food safety and quality are an important part of the company policy. We are aware of our role in the food chain. In order to meet the responsibility in the production of our products, a precise analysis and evaluation of conceivable dangers and risks in all processes is necessary, as well as the observance of and compliance with the defined specifications and measures, including their examination on the basis of measurable criteria. In order to guarantee the high quality and safety requirements of our products, we have drawn up programmes for precautionary measures as well as measures and plans for the management and control of food safety. In doing so, it is a matter of course for us to comply with legal regulations on the one hand and to meet our high standards of quality and food safety on the other.
Our quality management system is certified according to the food safety standard ISO 22000:2018.

All ingredients for the production of our specially labelled BIO products come from certified organic cultivation. For a neutral, independent control, we have arranged for BCS eco-control body to become involved. This testing facility controls and monitors both the production and the ingredients used in all our organic products.
Our suppliers must also have their operations certified by recognised testing facilities. This is how we guarantee the best organic quality.
